MP3 was founded in Italy in 1978. In 2016 it became MP3 Srl.
Since its establishment, the company has specialised in the supply of finished products manufactured using traditional plastic materials (PS, PP and PET) in addition to sheet products (ABS, ABS/PMMA e PS).
The new plant in Bazzano, inaugurated in 1998, rises on an 80,000m2 lot of which 45,000 m2 is covered space. The production capacity, the result of the most modern equipment in the field, is 72,000 tons/year.
Currently, 67% of our production is intended for export
In 2012, MP3 acquired 100% control of AMP Recycling, which boasts a long tradition in the field of plastic material processing. It began making plastic containers in the early ‘70s, especially for the vegetable, flower, plant and tree growing sector and became the national sector leader and a protagonist in Europe.
Moreover, at the end of 2007, AMP inaugurated the new 22,000 m2 facility on a surface area of 36,000 m2 in order to have adequate space and rationalise all the production activities, integrating the thermoforming and extrusion activities with a noteworthy plastics recycling plant dedicated to recovery of PET originating from differentiated waste collection.
