Paquetá was founded on June 20, 1945, in Sapiranga in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It began as a small shoe manufacturing industry and today comprises a number of activities: shoe manufacturing, shoe retailer, proprietary and own brands, real estate ventures, credit card administrator. The company’s business mix includes the brands Paquetá, Gaston, Paquetá Esportes, Esposende , Dumond, Capodarte, Lilly’s Closet, Atelier Mix and Ortopé.
