NanoTemper Technologies GmbH develops, produces and markets innovative, high quality instruments for biomedical research. The products are based on NanoTemper’s unique and proprietary technology termed MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST).
The company was founded as a spin off from the Center of Nanoscience (CeNS) at the University of Munich (LMU) in 2008. After a hugely successful introduction of the Monolith NT.115 in 2010, NanoTemper introduced a new instrument, the Monolith NT.LabelFree, in December 2011. The company, with headquarters in Munich, Germany, is rapidly expanding globally. NanoTemper instruments are used by hundreds of scientists on numerous continents. Recently, NanoTemper has received several prizes including the German Innovation award, the Step Award for outstanding development of the company, and the Red Dot Design Award “Best of the Best” for the Monolith NT.115 instrument.
